We are a full-service water treatment and design firm, that prides ourselves on providing custom tailored solutions to each and every customer.
Our staff has a wide range of experience in the wastewater treatment and services industry. FirstGen Staff members are experienced in Municipal Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Industrial Pre-Treatment, Industrial Wastewater Processing, Collection System Treatment, Full-Scale Plant Operations, System Design, and Specialized IT & Software Solutions.
Our goal is to identify each customer's specific needs, and provide the appropriate technologies coupled with exceptional service to satisfy those needs. Our Team recognizes that all wastewater streams are unique, and we strive to provide the specialized treatment solutions each customer merits.

Dustin Wuis
Partner, Certified WW Operator Class III, Class D
Dustin began his career treating wastewater and process water throughout the Midwest. Over the course of the last fifteen years Dustin has been responsible for treatment at a number of large Industrial and food and beverage facilities. More recently, he has developed an expertise in municipal wastewater as well. Dustin's expertise has helped him develop a level of knowledge around the vast majority of all biological, biochemical and mechanical treatment applications.

Catlyn Helmuth
Partner, Certified WW Operator Class III
Experienced Operator in Charge. With almost a decade in the wastewater industry, another decade of experience in the manufacturing and supply chain industry and raised on a dairy farm; Catlyn brings a wealth of knowledge to our Team. The experience he gained in his previous roles has made Catlyn an integral part of our design and project management team.
